 WRCA   ADC Kentrox

ADC Kentrox's network equipment, software and integration services make broadband communications a reality worldwide by enabling communications service providers to deliver high-speed Internet, data, video and voice services to homes and businesses.

As an Authorized ADC Kentrox Reseller, WRCA, Inc., offers an abundance of ADC Kentrox. ADC Kentrox network equipment includes ATM Access Devices, Broadband Access Devices, Channel Service Units (CSUs), Data Service Units (DSU/CSUs), and Service Point SDUs. WRCA also has a wide variety of refurbished ADC Kentrox equipment available for purchase.

Data Service Units (DSUs) convert serial data to a channelized format suitable for WAN services. DSU is the faster, digital equivalent of a modem.

DSU/CSU is a DSU with a built in Channel Service Unit (CSU). The CSU is used to connect a digital phone line coming in from the phone company to either a multiplexer, channel bank or directly to another device producing a digital signal, such as a digital PBX, a PC, or data communications devices. The CSU provides lightning isolation and network test facilities.

DSU/CSU is used to access the digital services (56/64k, T1/FT1, E1/FE1, T3/E3 and broadband services including Frame Relay, SMDS and ATM) offered by the various telephone companies. DSU/CSUs take the traffic from terminals, computers and channel banks, encode it, and transmit down the link. At the receiving end, another DSU/CSU equalizes the received signal, filters it, and decodes it for interpretation by the end-user. The DSU/CSU monitors the line for problems, provides a way to test the circuit, and performs line conditioning and diagnostic loopbacks.

Intelligent DSU/CSUs, such as the DataSMART product line from ADC Kentrox, offer a wide variety of loopbacks, diagnostics and performance monitoring capabilities to help you take active control of your network. Other enhanced features include SNMP/TELNET capabilities and bandwidth management flexibility to integrate your voice, data and video traffic.

Our technical staff strives to stay abreast of new technical innovations of WAN circuit technology and the Internetworking hardware made for those circuits. Our customers are furnished with updated information and technical specification to ensure the best possible products are provided for the application.

WAN- Designing and selling WIDE AREA NETWORKS is our specialty. WRCA has been assisting engineers, IT Managers, ISP Network technicians around the globe for over 20 years.
